The Black Ink Crew Ceaser Emanuel of New York replied to the outcry following the video of him hurting dogs.
Emanuel delivered a sort of apology after VH1 fired him on Thursday (June 23). The Black Ink Crew member attempted to defend his conduct by stating he was intervening in a dispute between his dogs.
“I’ve seen the film that everyone has seen, and it looks weird,” he remarked. “Even when I look at it, it looks insane.” But it’s a moment in time that I wish I could relive. When I got home, my dogs were fighting. I don’t mean the ordinary kind of fighting. They were practically trying to kill each other by reaching for each other’s necks.”

“I separated the dogs,” he continued. One of the dogs has now attacked me. I tried to deescalate the situation by opening the garage door. But I was worried. I’m not going to lie to you. I felt nervous and terrified. So, towards the end of the day, I attempting to calm the dog. I was genuinely attempting to frighten him. At no point did I intend to abuse this dog. I was only trying to get him back into his cage.”
Although Emanuel attempted to justify his actions, the Black Ink Crew boss appeared to recognise that he had crossed a limit.
“I’m not going to make any excuses for myself,” he declared. ‘I should have been more responsible.’ But that has nothing to do with my being cruel to animals or anything else. I’m not like that. What I did was a mistake, and that was the end of it.”
Emanuel further revealed that the footage was obtained from his own Ring camera. The Black Ink Crew cast member thought the leak was staged.
“I’m not sure how the footage got leaked,” he explained. “I know that came from my Ring camera… I’m going to keep it a buck with you. I feel as if I’m being set up in some way, because the way I’m being depicted isn’t my character.”
