Injuries Gabby Petito had been excruciatingly unpleasant. Gabby’s boyfriend and fiance committed suicide while traveling for their next blog.

Gabby, according to her lover Brian, was unhappy with her life and was regularly suicidal. We hope and pray that her soul is at rest.

The eight-page confession Brian Laundrie penned in a notebook after killing his girlfriend Gabby Petito on a cross-country road trip was recovered from the bottom of a Florida swamp in January.

Fox got copies of the paper on Friday, more than eight months after the notebook was discovered with Laundrie’s remains. Authorities claim he killed Petito at a Wyoming campground weeks before, then returned to Florida alone, without telling anyone about his missing lover.

An autopsy revealed that Petito died as a result of blunt-force trauma to the head and neck, as well as physical strangulation. However, in a self-serving confession, the former “van life” influencer depicted Petito’s murder as a way to alleviate her “suffering” after she fell into a frigid creek in Wyoming and was severely hurt.

He reported that when he took her from the water at Spread Creek, she was extremely cold, soaked wet, breathing heavily, and had a developing bump on her forehead.

“Her feet hurt, her wrist hurt, but she was frigid, shaking violently,” he wrote. “While carrying her, she constantly made sounds of anguish; laying next to her, she spoke little lapsing between strong shakes, gasping in misery, screaming for an end to her pain.”

He stated he attempted to take her to their car, but his knees buckled from tiredness and shock, so he lit a fire to keep her warm. He then claimed that Petito would not allow him to leave her side to seek assistance.

“I’m not sure what the degree of Gabby’s injuries [sic] is,” he wrote. “Only that she was in excruciating pain.” I took her life because I felt it was merciful and what she wanted, but now I see all the faults I made.”

Laundrie would not say how he killed Petito, but the injuries he said she had were contradictory with the autopsy.

He claimed he killed himself “not out of fear of punishment, but rather because I can’t bear to live another day without her,” before pleading for mercy on behalf of his family, to whom he fled immediately after her death. “Please do not make my family’s lives any more difficult; they have lost a son and a daughter,” he added.

Authorities claim that after Petito’s death, Laundrie attempted to conceal his tracks by sending text messages between his and Petito’s phones that made it appear as if she was still alive. He also continued to use Petito’s debit cards.

Despite portraying their trips as idyllic on YouTube, the couple had frequent violent, and often physical, disagreements while on the road, and Petito’s acquaintances afterward described Laundrie as envious and dominating.
