A shark bit a visitor in the Mediterranean off the famed Egyptian resort of Hurghada, according to the Russian Consulate General.
A visitor was bitten by a shark in the Sahl Hasheesh area, and the shark bit off her arm and leg. According to the diplomatic mission, she is not a Russian citizen.
It was later revealed that an Austrian citizen had been hurt. The traveler was taken to the hospital, but doctors were unable to save her life.
