The Milwaukee Cannibal or the Milwaukee Monster, also known as Jeffrey Lionel Dahmer ( May 21, 1960 – November 28, 1994), was an American serial killer and sex offender who murdered and dismembered seventeen men and boys between 1978 and 1991. His later killings frequently entailed cannibalism, necrophilia, and the permanent retention of body parts, usually the entire or portion of the skeleton.
Jeffrey Dahmer Victims Timeline
One of the worst serial killers in America was Dahmer, often known as the Milwaukee Monster. He killed numerous men and boys during the 13 years (1978 to 1991) of his terror reign.
Despite committing horrifying murders, the Milwaukee Monster was spared the death punishment because the state of Wisconsin abolished the death penalty in 1853.
The Los Angeles Times reports that between 1978 and 1991, Dahmer killed 17 men and boys.
According to CrimeMuseum.org, he was only 18 years old when he killed Steven Hicks, his first victim. Dahmer was detained twice for indecent exposure in the years 1982 and 1986 until he was eventually apprehended in 1991.
When his final victim was able to flee in 1991, the Milwaukee Monster was still at large.
GoodToKnow claims that on July 22, 1991, Tracy Edwards, who was 32 at the time, met Jeffrey Dahmer in a neighbourhood bar and consented to visit the serial killer’s apartment and pose for several photos in exchange for a $100 payment.
According to additional information from the publication, the creature bound Tracy and threatened to consume his heart.
Tracy managed to persuade Dahmer to free him from the handcuffs after sensing the threat to his life.
Tracy was terrified for his life due to the obnoxious scent in the home, the boxes of hydrochloric acid on the floor, and Dahmer’s bizarre behaviour.
Tracy assaulted Dahmer as soon as he was freed from the handcuffs and ran out of the apartment. Later, he encountered two police officers who followed him back to Dahmer’s flat.
The police allegedly discovered the remains of 11 men, including severed heads in the refrigerator, in Dahmer’s apartment 213, which belonged to him. A drawer filled with Polaroids of the victims’ severed bodies was also discovered.
Jeffrey Apartment Building Now
In Milwaukee, Jeffrey Dahmer resided in No. 213 Oxford Apartments from May 1990 until his capture on July 22, 1991.
The Oxford Apartments’ former location is now entirely vacant. Only 15 months after the discovery of human remains, in November 1992, the flats were destroyed.
National Honor Society
The National Honor Society photograph featured Jeffrey Dahmer. Mike Krukal released the image after finding out the truth about Jeffrey. Many Reddit users were curious as to how the image would seem in 2022. The NHS advisor has, in fact, blacked out his face. Jeffrey Dahmer’s prom photo has also caused some viewers to worry.
